Skills Centrum Rwenzori Limited, founded in 2019, stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment in Uganda. This non-profit organization has dedicated itself to tackling the multifaceted challenges of child marriage, young motherhood, and entrenched poverty that plague many communities in the Rwenzori region. Their unwavering commitment to these causes is evident in their comprehensive approach, which encompasses vocational training, education, and community support. Through initiatives like weaving, plastic mosaic making, tailoring, and crocheting, Skills Centrum Rwenzori equips young mothers and school dropouts with practical skills that not only offer them an alternative source of income but also pave the way for breaking the cycle of poverty in their families.

In just a few years since its establishment, Skills Centrum Rwenzori Limited has achieved significant milestones that underscore its commitment to making a difference. With over 1,000 trainees empowered through hands-on skills training, the organization has already made a substantial impact on the lives of many individuals. What sets them apart is not only their focus on training but also their practical support, including providing startup materials for trainees and assisting families during challenging times, as demonstrated by their food supply efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
